Sumica Corporation is a highly specialized real estate company focused on revitalizing and repurposing vacant homes across Japan.Our CEO is a practicing real estate investor who founded the company based on the Japanese concept of mottainai, which refers to the idea of making full use of things that still hold value instead of letting them go to waste.
In Japan, cultural preferences for newly built homes and the lack of a tradition of maintaining and passing down older properties have led to a growing number of vacant houses. Many of these homes are structurally sound and retain asset value, yet they remain unused and forgotten.
Sumica aims to give these properties new purpose and function. We provide end-to-end support, covering property sourcing, renovation, leasing, and resale.
